Parallel to his work as a film director, Zacharias Mavroeidis is a devoted screenwriter, working in TV and film productions for over fifteen years. His professional experience covers the entire spectrum of writing teams, from concept creator to dialogue writer, both on original concepts and format adaptations, lately focusing in script consulting for film productions.
Since 2014 he has been teaching screenwriting in SAE Athens and since 2020 in Faro creative learning space, developing his own, educational model that blends screenwriting theory (Robert McKee, John Yorke) with narratology (David Bordwell, Seymur Chatman, Meir Sternberg).
Για πάνω από δεκαπέντε χρόνια και παράλληλα με το σκηνοθετικό του έργο, ο Ζαχαρίας Μαυροειδής εργάζεται ως σεναριογράφος σε κινηματογραφικές και τηλεοπτικές παραγωγές. Η επαγγελματική του εμπειρία καλύπτει το σύνολο των πόστων των συγγραφικών ομάδων, από δημιουργός concept μέχρι διαλογίστας, τόσο πρωτότυπου περιεχόμενου όσο και διασκευών, εστιάζοντας τα τελευταία χρόνια στην επιμέλεια σεναρίων για κινηματογραφικές παραγωγές.
Από το 2014 διδάσκει σενάριο στην SAE Athens και από το 2020 στο Faro creative learning, όπου αναπτύσσει το δικό του εκπαιδευτικό μοντέλο στο οποίο συνδυάζει θεωρία σεναρίου (Robert McKee, John Yorke) με αφηγηματολογία (David Bordwell, Seymur Chatman, Meir Sternberg).
